The Chi Chi Rodriguez Academy (Public Private Partnership School) provides a supportive, nurturing environment creating the opportunity for those at-risk youth to develop essential academic and life skills.
The Academy currently has over 90 students from 4th through 8th grade.
All of the Academy students are referred to us by the Pinellas County School System, private counselors, psychologists, community agencies, or the court system.
In order to be accepted into the Academy, students must meet two or more of the following requirements:
- have been traumatized
- from a single parent home
- be on some form of government assistance
- have poor grades
- be socially withdrawn
- poor school attendance
