Tom Jewell

Raising money one birdie at a time

We salute Tom Jewell as our Transitions Championship Birdies for Charities Chairman for the past three years. His leadership resulted in over $30,000 raised during those years. He began volunteering here in 1995 after retiring as Chairman of the JC Penney Classic for seven years. He is a golf nut and plays in the annual kids golf event where he and his partner own the nine hole tournament record of 9 under par. He also enjoyed playing Santa for many years at the Christmas parties. He and wife Lavon live in East Lake Woodlands.
